Embedded Panoramic Images

Panoramic images can be embedded by uploading a jpeg image in the correct format into a 'file' field on a page.

Just add [Handler] to the text field on the file upload form. (Note that you must upload the jpeg into a 'File' field rather than an 'Image' field - otherwise it will just be displayed as an ordinary image.)

There are many tools and software packages available to allow you to create your own panoramic images.

The images are 'played' in the popular Java applet, PTViewer. You have control over the width and height of the panoramic view and also over the 'alt' text which is displayed to users without a java plugin or to those using special access browsers. The following example uses [Handler]width=100%;height=150;alt=You need a java plugin in order to view this panoramic image
